NOW AND THEN
FraiseBec was founded 30 years ago by Yvon Charbonneau who had the
idea to transform a part of his lands into strawberry fields.
Gradually, this small harvesting would become a successful family
business, specialized in the production of the autumn strawberry
– harvested from June to October.
With more than 50 hectares of cultivated land and close to
300 employees in high season, FraiseBec has become the most
important producer of strawberries in Canada.
